Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 price, specifications, features and comparison

Edge-to-edge displays might be the talk of the town right now thanks to the iPhone X, but as anyone with even a passing interest in the smartphone industry would know, Apple’s newest flagship is not the first smartphone to embrace this design. That feather belongs in the cap of Xiaomi, which released the Mi Mix last year when the iPhone X when was nothing but a rumour you read about on a site like this one.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, the premium bezel-less smartphone from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, will go on sale in India on Tuesday via Flipkart and Mi.com - at 12pm IST. This is the first regular flash sale of the smartphone, and we can expect more units to be available to buy compared to the two previous 'preview' sales. Apart from its bezel-less display, the biggest highlights of the smartphone are its metallic-ceramic body and the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. To recall, the smartphone was launched in India in early October, and has since been made available in preview sales in the country. Following the regular flash sale on Tuesday, the Mi MIX 2 will also become available to buy offline via Mi Home stores and the company's physical retail partners.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 smartphone was launched in September 2017. The phone comes with a 5.99-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2160 pixels at a PPI of 403 pixels per inch. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 price in India starts from Rs. 35,999.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 packs a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 runs Android and is powered by a 3400mAh non removable battery. It measures 151.80 x 75.50 x 7.70 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 185.00 grams.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Barometer.
